This Viking Boat was made to order for Cheryl McConnell, ( VanirCats.com ) who breeds and shows Norwegian Forest Cats.
This boat is of my own design, style, and hand crafted by myself out of various woods. It took approximately 45 hours to build and sculpt; I had no plans or instructions, but that is the way I usually create my "art", which, by the way, I consider a blessing (talent) from God.
The Viking Boat size is approximately 15 1/2 inches wide and 29 inches long. It was never intended to "float" on water, but was commissioned and designed as a Norwegian Forest Cat's bed, and a very unique one at that. I would consider making another, but it would never take on the exact characteristics of the boat pictured, for Cheryl's boat will always be a "one-of-a-kind".
